The Purpose Behind Our Theatre
Jewish Theatre of Oklahoma’s mission is to explore the rich social, cultural, and spiritual heritage of the Jewish people through theater-going experiences. We seek to illuminate our cultural heritage through exploring Jewish themes and giving voice to Jewish playwrights and ideas.
With performances and discussion, we hope to strengthen our Jewish community and its ties to the broader multicultural world around us. In some small way, through entertainment and education, we can help to stem the rising tide of anti-Semitism.
