No. You do not need to be Jewish to audition or work with Jewish Theatre of Oklahoma. We welcome performers of all races, ethnicities, ages, religions, gender identities, sexual orientations, body types, abilities, and levels of experience.

We love connecting with artists from Oklahoma’s Jewish community and may occasionally seek performers with particular cultural knowledge or lived experience when it is important to a role. Any specific casting considerations will be clearly stated in the audition notice.

Preparation requirements will be included in each audition notice. Depending on the production, you may be asked to prepare a monologue or song, read selections from the script, or participate in a movement exercise.
