Casting Call: The Apple Tree Musical Concert Staging

The Jewish Theatre of Oklahoma is now seeking submissions for our upcoming concert staging of Act 1: “The Diary of Adam and Eve” from The Apple Tree, the witty and heartfelt musical by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick.

This special event will be presented at Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Paseo on January 24 at 8:00 PM and January 25 at 2:00 PM & 7:00 PM. Join us for a musical exploration of love, curiosity, and truth through the story of Adam and Eve with a charmingly comedic twist.

About the Production

The Apple Tree is a delightful trio of musical tales about the fickleness of love and human nature. Our show will focus on Act 1, The Diary of Adam and Eve, which draws inspiration from Mark Twain’s humorous and tender reflections on the first couple’s discoveries in Eden. Performed in a concert-style format, this version celebrates Bock and Harnick’s timeless music and wit in an intimate, story-focused setting.
