An instruction guide of how to handle the inner struggle after a massacre between the human voice which calls for revenge and the safety of your children and the voice of reason which comes to remind you that all mothers want the same thing. The text investigates the idea of humanism seen in the light of the meaninglessness of war and from the mother’s perspective: Mothers on both sides of a conflict. Who do you turn to or listen to – or not at all! – to understand or put an end to the atrocities?
Reader’s Theatre style performance at Oklahoma Shakespeare.
*Now with a new performance at 1pm and 4pm!

Jewish Theatre of Oklahoma’s mission is to explore the rich social, cultural, and spiritual heritage of the Jewish people through theater-going experiences.
We seek to illuminate our cultural heritage through exploring Jewish themes and giving voice to Jewish playwrights and ideas.
With performances and discussion, we hope to strengthen our Jewish community and its ties to the broader multicultural world around us.
In some small way, through entertainment and education, we can help to stem the rising tide of anti-Semitism.
